Most people think of flamenco  (top video) when they think of Spanish dance. It surely is an impressive and beautiful form, and you can see the very best in Seville. But there is another, more commonly danced form called the Sevillana (bottom video). This beautiful dance is done to a series of four portions to a song, each with the same number of beats. There are four different dances of the Sevillana which are done in order as each song portion is sung. There is a brief pause between each of  the four parts where the beat is kept by the clapping of the onlookers and the dancers.
